Staff System Engineer

As a Staff System Engineer, you will lead the strategic design, implementation, and management of the organization’s systems and cloud infrastructure. Serve as a cloud strategy and architecture lead, supporting modernized cloud-native environments across AWS, Azure and GCP. This senior leadership role involves architecting scalable, secure, and highly available environments that align with business objectives. Work with stakeholders and end users to develop requirements for system modernization efforts and manage programs through the requirements validation, solution development, and delivery phase. You will mentor senior engineers, oversee complex projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization’s operational efficiency and effectiveness in technology. Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues in environments. Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and efficiency. Support the application of security best practices, including patch management, user permissions, and system hardening. Performs other related duties as assigned.
