Infrastructure Operations:
- Manage patching, updates, and lifecycle for Azure VMs and cloud workloads using Azure Update Manager.
- Support on-premises infrastructure through its planned transition to cloud.
- Maintain operational documentation, standards, and procedures.
Level 3 Support and Incident Response:
- Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, partnering with senior engineers on the hardest problems.
- Troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, identity, and application connectivity problems.
- Participate in root cause analysis, problem resolution, and major incident response.
Automation and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, automation solutions, and operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual operational effort.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Azure AI capabilities to improve troubleshooting, documentation, and operational efficiency.
