Product Counsel

The Role:

• This position is for an experienced Product Counsel to join the Legal team as a strategic business partner.
• The role involves tackling a broad range of legal matters across product counseling, regulatory compliance, and crypto-native issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide practical guidance throughout the product development lifecycle to product, engineering, and research teams.
• Refine and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to stay ahead of evolving requirements.
• Support broader legal initiatives spanning intellectual property, privacy, and other operational needs.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Requires a J.D. and admission to a U.S. state bar with 8+ years of legal experience, including in-house at a high-growth tech or crypto company.
• Must have deep product counseling experience and fluency in crypto legal issues, with the ability to balance legal risk with business judgment.
• Ideal candidate is a collaborative communicator, a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is highly curious with a scrappy, hands-on attitude.
