Lead initiatives to drive platform reliability, product velocity, and technical excellence.
Identify and close technical gaps to advance Flickr's competitive position.

Technical Leadership:

Stay close to the technology, engaging at code and architecture level to shape the technical culture.
Serve as a credible technical voice in executive conversations, translating engineering tradeoffs into business context.
Champion engineering craft and a culture of continuous learning and ownership.

Team and Financial Ownership:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineering managers, fostering accountability and growth.
Oversee full financial management including budget setting, expense management, and AWS costs.
Serve as engineering business owner to the Executive Team, influencing decisions with lasting impact.
