As an Engineering Manager, you'll support AI integration in products, foster experimentation and prototyping, and collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to drive innovation through data. You’ll be fully responsible and accountable for managing your team(s), ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery with high operational standards. You’ll also actively partner with your Product and UX counterparts to shape the direction of our area and the company as a whole.

As VP of Engineering, you’ll guide the strategic and operational direction of Medium’s engineering organization, working closely with the CEO, and senior leaders across design, content, and analytics to align the technical roadmap with our product vision and business goals. You will directly manage our senior-most engineering leaders—across product engineering, infrastructure, data, and QA—while shaping the conditions for them and their teams to thrive.
