Locum Tenens Recruiter

The Locum Tenens Recruiter is responsible for recruiting physician and APC locum and NonClass A positions. This role ensures candidates meet position requirements and assesses for any gaps and issues. The recruiter collaborates with the vendor, site contacts, and departments to facilitate credentialing verification, hospital privileging, payor activation, onboarding, and other related processes to meet the set start date. The Locum Tenens Recruiter also handles recruitment and placement of special contract physicians for MCHS. This individual serves as a liaison between Physician & APC candidates, external locum agencies, and MCHS before, during, and following the hiring process. The recruiter participates in maintaining positive relationships with MCHS Physicians & APCs, leadership, and community contacts, particularly those related to external locum agencies. The Locum Tenens Recruiter provides market information and makes recommendations to senior leadership.
