Senior Director Major Gifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure philanthropic gifts through identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects.
• Manage a team of development professionals, volunteers, Leadership Board members and administrative activities.
• Achieve significant dollar goals and lead campaigns for capital, programmatic, research, endowment and operating support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; ten years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, direct solicitation, and capital campaign environment with management experience.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising strategies for donor cultivation and direct solicitation.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work Environment:

• This role works remotely within the Florida area, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with travel throughout the market required.
• Candidates must reside in the Florida area surrounding Martin Health North.
• Physical requirements include ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods and operate a computer.
