Key Responsibilities:
- Secure philanthropic gifts through identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects.
- Manage a team of development professionals, volunteers, Leadership Board members and administrative activities.
- Achieve significant dollar goals and lead campaigns for capital, programmatic, research, endowment and operating support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; ten years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, direct solicitation, and capital campaign environment with management experience.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising strategies for donor cultivation and direct solicitation.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment:
- This role works remotely within the Florida area, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with travel throughout the market required.
- Candidates must reside in the Florida area surrounding Martin Health North.
- Physical requirements include ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods and operate a computer.
