Job Description
The People Operations Coordinator will lead onboarding and support the day-to-day workflows that shape the employee experience at Whatnot. This person will handle everything from pre-hire setup to Day 1 logistics, partner with teams like IT, Legal, People Business Partners, and Recruiting, and be a go-to for employees through the People Helpdesk.
Responsibilities include owning onboarding, supporting in-person onboarding moments at the LA hub, partnering with various teams, keeping systems up to date, handling compliance logistics, answering employee questions, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting People Ops projects.
This role requires 1+ years of experience in People Ops or HR coordination, hands-on experience with Workday, and familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Zendesk, Navan, and Slab or Notion. Must also be within commuting distance of the Los Angeles hub.
