This is a remote-forward role where you'll play a critical role in supporting our growing team by owning interview scheduling and candidate coordination. You’ll work directly with the Head of People and senior leaders to streamline hiring operations, ensure a smooth candidate experience, and help scale our recruiting infrastructure. The Recruiter/Business Partner will oversee the recruiting function within JerseySTEM. This position offers the opportunity to scale a team to support JerseySTEM's mission. You will have the opportunity to bring creative ideas to develop recruiting programs and streamline processes associated with the entire recruitment function.

This entry-level role plays a central part in supporting day-to-day People Operations and ensuring a smooth, high-quality employee experience from onboarding through offboarding. You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about employee experience, and loves building smooth, scalable processes. As a People Operations Associate Generalist, you will deliver an exceptional employee experience through repeatable and scalable HR tasks, projects and programs. You will manage and triage employee requests using Jira and execute tier 1 People Operations processes, such as new hire onboarding, benefits administration, talent acquisition, talent management, and employee experience. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
