Cloud Services Engineer

Your Role:

• Take senior ownership of the organisation's cloud services environment, ensuring it is secure, reliable, cost-effective, and continuously improving.
• Manage Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Cisco Meraki while supporting a small on-premises domain controller environment during its transition to full cloud operation.
• Own backup and disaster recovery services, defining recovery procedures and ensuring recovery objectives are documented and achievable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive effective triage, root-cause analysis, and remediation for cloud services incidents and problems.
• Maintain the Cisco Meraki environment, including switching, wireless, security appliances, and firmware lifecycle management.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, Teams telephony, Intune device management, and coordination with security and licensing teams.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive hands-on experience in Cloud, Infrastructure Engineering, or IT Operations with ownership of production services.
• Strong practical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, and Cisco Meraki.
• A customer-centric, service-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
