Role Overview:
- This is a full-time, 100% remote position for candidates based in Latin America, working U.S. business hours to support high-end renovation projects.
- The role focuses on delivering accurate cost estimates through digital takeoffs and virtual collaboration with architects and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed digital quantity takeoffs using PlanSwift and review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify scope gaps.
- Develop conceptual estimates, ROM budgets, and bid proposals, while managing RFIs and leveling subcontractor bids to ensure complete pricing.
- Normalize subcontractor quotes, prepare material lists, benchmark project costs, and propose value engineering alternatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of preconstruction estimating experience, preferably in commercial or high-end residential renovation.
- Expert ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, with advanced proficiency in PlanSwift and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and MEP systems, along with B2+ English proficiency for written and spoken communication.
