About the Role:
- Rewards is a strategically important platform at Moniepoint, sitting at the center of retention for ~23 million users.
- The ambition is to evolve cashback into a full rewards, retention, engagement, and personalization platform across all customer segments.
- As Head of Engineering, you own the platform end-to-end with full autonomy as the CTO of your domain.
Responsibilities:
- Own technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Rewards Platform.
- Improve existing cashback product performance and reliability.
- Build engineering organization from a current team of nine to multiple product units.
- Establish a strong experimentation culture with A/B testing and measurement.
Who You Are:
- Direct-to-consumer product engineering at scale with front-end and mobile depth.
- At least 5 years managing managers and 10+ years overall engineering experience.
- Hands-on technical leadership; comfortable with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience in growth engineering, experimentation, and scaling engineering organizations.

- Measurable improvement in cashback performance and customer engagement.
- Credible rewards platform roadmap defined and first new initiatives shipped.
- Functioning experimentation practice with short learning cycles.
- Strong bench of Engineering Managers and senior engineers built out.
