Chinese Translator

Responsibilities:

• Manage translation and copy-editing tasks, ensuring high-quality linguistic outputs for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with freelancers and agencies, maintain glossaries and style guides, and resolve terminology queries.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve workflow efficiency and meet key performance indicators.

Requirements:

• Native fluency in the target language and strong written and spoken English across various registers.
• Four or more years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing, plus two years of review experience.
• Proficiency with standard CAT tools like XTM and SDL Studio, and ability to quickly learn new localization applications.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience communicating positively with customers at various levels and working effectively within a virtual team environment.
