Manager of Risk - Brokerage

Risk Leadership:

• Lead daily operations, including intraday monitoring and escalation.
• Coach, mentor, and manage Risk Analysts to ensure control discipline.
• Establish supervision routines and accountability.

Client Account Monitoring:

• Oversee monitoring for margin sufficiency and abnormal trading.
• Supervise discretionary interventions and escalation decisions.
• Ensure timely response to high-risk events.

Firm-Wide Risk Oversight:

• Monitor aggregate exposure across client accounts.
• Recommend adjustments to risk thresholds and monitoring triggers.
• Partner with clearing and brokerage counterparts.

Systems & Program Development:

• Oversee maintenance and improvement of risk tools.
• Drive risk automation initiatives and KPI development.
• Compile exposure and trend reporting.
