Job Description
Create business development plan and provide and achieve targets to grow the Service Business unit to maximize volume and profitability. Promote and sell the LabScape Service Agreements, upgrades and other aftermarket products to all existing and new customers in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the Service Contract business for all product groups in General Purpose Instruments in the assigned sales territory. Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with key accounts or indirectly with 3rd Party Service Providers. Develop proposal for sales campaigns for specific service products and markets/customers and align campaigns with the Service, Marcom, and Product Management leadership before execution. Monitor changes or developments within the industry and report to management. Provide administrative support to customers and field service team, such as responding to pricing inquiries, creating quotations and maintaining customer data base. Interact with Finance team to ensure that billing and collections proceed in a timely manner.
