Within 30 Days:
- Complete onboarding to build context on products, customers, and internal workflows.
- Learn the accounting close calendar by reviewing the close checklist and assigned tasks.
- Begin reviewing vendor bills entered by Accounts Payable, focusing on accuracy and completeness.
Within 60 Days:
- Own all assigned monthly recurring journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform initial accounting review of AP activity and credit card transactions.
- Review inbound mail scans and serve as the primary point of contact for non-routine items.
Within 90 Days:
- Independently manage assigned areas of the monthly close, including preparation and review of reconciliations.
- Prepare initial monthly payment estimates and supporting schedules.
- Assist with month-over-month income statement variance analysis.
