Revenue Cycle Representative III

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of physician billing revenue cycle including billing, claims filing, data entry, and insurance follow-up.
• Manage denial management, payment posting, refunds, credit balances, and account corrections.
• Perform advanced functions such as system support, claims edit management, and front end management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years advanced experience in physician billing revenue cycle or central business office.
• Advanced knowledge of third-party insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Indemnity) and Medicare program.

Skills Required:

• Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Medicare fraud/abuse regulations.
• Proficiency with practice management systems, Microsoft Office, and internet products.
• Ability to counsel patients financially and resolve problems with high customer service skills.
