A Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the physical infrastructure of a data center. The DCIM Engineer will work closely with other teams such as IT, facilities, and operations. Perform capacity planning to ensure the data center can handle current and future workloads.

• Develop detailed floor plans, equipment layouts, rack elevations, containment systems, and white space designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and network engineering teams.
• Incorporate airflow, cooling, electrical distribution, and redundancy strategies into layouts.

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Drive projects from early planning and design through construction execution and final handover to operations.

• Independently handle engineering and project management tasks on small to medium-sized projects.
• Process design calculations, develop project scopes and schedules, and produce structural construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.

This position manages data center infrastructure operations across all campuses. Responsibilities include overseeing DCIM software platforms, monitoring power and cooling systems, and tracking asset capacity. Ensuring accurate reporting and compliance while supporting operational and business teams in delivering reliable data center services.
