Network and Computer Systems Admin, Journeyman

Overview:

• Responsible for installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of networked computer systems.
• Ensures integrity, reliability, and efficiency of information systems supporting mission-critical operations.
• Provides intermediate-level technical support in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage patch management processes, ensuring desktops, laptops, and remote desktops remain current with software patches.
• Ensure compliance with client policies and cybersecurity standards by monitoring patch deployment status.
• Collaborate with end users, IT personnel, and security teams for advanced technical support.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related field with 4+ years of experience in patch management.
• Strong understanding of patch management principles and experience with tools like Microsoft WSUS and SCCM.
• Must possess Secret Security Clearance and pass background checks.
