Job Description
The HR/Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting the human resources operations to include Health and Company Benefits, Leaves of Absences, and Engagement initiatives and projects. This position will be required to interact with a wide range of employees and business partners to provide excellent customer service and make sound judgement regarding company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include being a key resource for employee questions, serving as a Subject Matter Expert on company benefit plans and leave of absences, administering benefits programs, processing new employee enrollments, and resolving employee benefits issues. This role also involves managing Leaves of Absences and ADA accommodations, supporting timecard processes, analyzing data, managing employment verification requests, overseeing Workersβ Compensation claims, and assisting with employee engagement and retainment efforts. The Benefits Specialist will also participate in charitable giving initiatives, interpret HR policies, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
