Job Description
The Commercial Territory Manager will meet and exceed quarterly sales quota by developing new opportunities within a specific geographical territory. Key responsibilities include researching and identifying potential accounts, engaging in outbound cold calling to acquire new clients, building strong relationships, providing technical information and clear explanations, and delivering informative Webex presentations. The role also involves preparing accurate quotes, providing monthly/quarterly sales forecasts, presenting quarterly territory performance reviews with plans for the upcoming quarter, and continuously updating job knowledge through product descriptions and educational opportunities. This role requires strong sales skills, customer development expertise, territory management abilities, presentation skills, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. It also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in using internal resources as well as systems like SalesForce, NetSuite, and Microsoft Products. The manager will close new business, forecast all sales activity, and be responsible for annual revenue.
