Primary Function of Position:

  • The da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager builds and develops the clinical field sales team within the region.
  • This role manages the clinical utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System within the installed base.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical sales activities to exceed goals, expanding clinical usage in all existing accounts.
  • Manage training, education, and the new system installation process, while prospecting for new installations.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and lead a Clinical sales team, collaborating closely with Capital, Sales Support, and enabling functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree in life science or business with a minimum of 8 years sales experience, including 5+ years in medical device sales.
  • Proven experience in developing, coaching, and training sales teams in the medical device industry, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong clinical sales background, results-oriented, with ability to operate in a matrix organization and travel up to 50%.
