Provide technical phone support to customers and field personnel, including Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex robotic problems using remote diagnostics over the telephone.
Drive resolution of all product performance issues until acceptable solution is identified and implemented or it is determined escalation is necessary.
The Cardiovascular Program Specialist (CVPS) will provide expert clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the use of DaVinci cardiac surgery, devices and therapies.
This role partners closely with the sales team, specifically the Cardiovascular Sales Manager (CVSM) to ensure safe and effective product adoption while driving positive patient outcomes.
This role is part of a small team of strategic sales professionals across the country who are focused on developing cardiac surgeons, and all those associated with cardiac programs.
Serve as market-facing commercial lead throughout the upstream development cycle; bring commercial guidance to inform strategy and optimize launch success
Generate deep market, customer, and clinical insights; translate into actionable product and commercial recommendations aligned with the largest unmet clinical needs
Partner with engineering, product, clinical, and corporate strategy teams to define and execute go-to-market strategy from product development through early commercialization
Manage the complex sales process of da Vinci® Surgical Systems into new hospitals and upgrades into existing hospitals
Build support from surgeons and administration for da Vinci® Surgery; identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the da Vinci® Surgical System within an assigned sales territory
Effectively manage transition of initial sale and installation to the sales team to drive procedural volume and growth; achieve quarterly sales targets
Be a resource to the surgical team by providing guidance, insight, and training on the use of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
Lead all technical in-services for customers to include OR staff, surgeons, etc.
Contribute to Clinical Sales Manager team quarterly sales goals by helping influence behavior change in customers such as product demonstrations/in- services, OR selling activities, and customer support trainings.
