Medical Scheduler

We seek a candidate with experience with medical scheduling, who is a team player with exceptional interpersonal, critical thinking, and organizational skills, who is passionate about being part of a health-care team and excited to work in a non-traditional telemedicine practice environment. This is a full-time remote opportunity, must be aligned to working hours of roughly 10:00-6:00 EST. Key responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments for new patients and updating patient records. Uses an internal scheduling tool to help increase provider utilization and coordinating with practice operations to ensure appropriate allocation of resources and time slots. Confirming appointments with patients and handling cancellations, rescheduling, and rejoining requests. Filing documentation into a patient's chart that may include medical records, prior authorization keys, referrals, prior authorization determinations. Other duties as assigned.
