About the Role:
- Serve as the dedicated legal resource for GoodLeap's Servicing Team.
- Provide real-time operational guidance on loss mitigation, collections, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compliance analysis under Reg X, Reg Z, FDCPA, UDAAP, TCPA, and state laws.
- Draft and maintain loss mitigation policies and servicing procedures.
- Review vendor contracts and support regulatory examinations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years as a practicing attorney in consumer loan servicing.
- Deep knowledge of consumer debt collection laws and regulations.
- Membership in applicable state bar and J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
Compensation:
- $240,000–$260,000 annually.
