Senior Associate, Compliance Product

The Compliance Product, Analytics, and Model Governance (PAM) Team at Coinbase is at the forefront of protecting Coinbase’s reputation as the most trusted and compliant crypto exchange in the world. You will collaborate closely with Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) stakeholders to identify and clearly document requirements through Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). Proactively uncover and articulate opportunities to enhance our models, leveraging advanced AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), and develop compelling business cases to secure alignment with Compliance and Engineering teams. You will serve as a critical bridge between Compliance and Engineering, translating regulatory and business needs into actionable technical requirements, and clearly communicating complex technical issues back to Compliance stakeholders for decisions. This role will act as a knowledgeable advocate for our models, confidently presenting and defending their design, effectiveness, and governance to global regulators and examiners through both verbal engagements and clear documentation.You will define clear product roadmaps and prioritize features based on regulatory expectations and business impact, and you will coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Compliance, Data Engineering and Customer Experience.
