Contributes to the mortgage loan process by being a key contact for both borrowers and internal partners within Summit Funding to manage a pipeline of loans from contract to close. Responsible for receiving loan applications, obtaining credit information for applicants, and collecting all needed documentation for loans. Documentation includes Verifications of Deposit (VOD), Verifications of Employment (VOE), appraisal, title, etc. Answers borrower questions and verifies loans are complete.
Manage a team of individual contributors and managers that are key cross functional players to Mercury’s product, legal, compliance, and finance teams and build out Mercury’s network of potential partners. Be the internal expert on the fintech partner ecosystem and build our knowledge base on how this system works. Clearly communicate the compliance, regulatory, and technical products of Mercury accurately in order to liaison between product teams and win over external partners.
Assist Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) to conduct their jobs most efficiently by providing ongoing and consistent support to the sales process as well as excellent communication with internal and external customers. Specific tasks include pulling daily pipeline reports, communicating with consumers after approval, timely document collection and review, and ordering out once file has been turned in to underwriting.
