This role will contribute to improving the online booking experience, optimizing performance across digital channels, and helping define the metrics that guide growth. You will collaborate with analytics, engineering, and marketing teams to build scalable data solutions and deliver actionable insights.

Create innovative and thought-provoking technical analysis and best practice implementation content for Gartner clients, delivering high-impact content and engaging with clients on insights and best practices for evolving data and analytics environments to prepare for AI/GenAI technologies. Demonstrate thought leadership, provide actionable advice, and build credibility as an industry expert. Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, while mentoring junior team members.

The Client Insights Analyst will be a strategic partner to the business, helping to design scalable insight engines, prototype decision-support systems, and lead the next wave of analytics across high-impact problem spaces. Being a client focused role, experience in client presentations is important. You will deliver strategic presentations to client stakeholders with clear recommendations and hypotheses for testing.

As a member of the analytics team, you will bring order to vast amounts of internal and external data so OnePay can make better data-driven business decisions, faster. You will work cross-functionally to leverage data to understand strengths and opportunities in our business. You will extend proposals that advance both the business and provide a better experience for our customers.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with experience using data to explore business questions and inform decision-making to support our Consumer Solutions business unit. In this role, you will work closely with product and business leaders to drive data-driven prioritization decisions, build our understanding of users' experience in our homeowner app, and measure the success of our communications and cross-sell efforts.

As a Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for the analytical needs of a team of engineers, designers, and product/marketing managers. You'll propose and conduct quantitative research into user behaviors, product flows, and business trends. Partner with product managers and engineers to scope new features and define key metrics. Contribute to the company's data culture through data table design and maintenance.

As a Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for all the analytical needs of an entire team of engineers, designers, and product/marketing managers -- helping empower the team and Thumbtack more broadly to build the best product, as quickly as possible. You will Propose and conduct quantitative research into key user behaviors, product flows, and business trends; based on analysis and in collaboration with cross-functional partners, identify potential new opportunities and next steps for the product team.

This role will specifically focus on collaborating with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and other members of the Data team to generate trusted analytics and insights to measure company performance, with expected outcomes of reducing time to insight and increasing internal alignment. Responsibilities include delivering high-impact analytical insights, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and crafting analyses, reports, and dashboards.
