The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing service and support at customer sites located throughout their assigned territory, providing installation supervision, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and related power distribution equipment.

Grow in knowledge of equipment and electrical requirements for stepping up a medium-voltage solar and BESS power plant to a high-voltage point of interconnection for various utilities across the United States. Enhance automation in substation electrical design using Substation Design Suite, SQL, Python, Visual Basic (Excel Macros), or other programming languages.

Provide high-level technical support on Canon’s production level digital imaging products, troubleshooting electro mechanical and connectivity based issues. Provide timely and cost-effective solutions, document field activities, and author technical documentation. Requires travel and the ability to provide 24X7 phone based support.

Electrical Engineers (EE) are responsible for the design, interpretation, application and documentation of drawings, schematics and diagrams, ensuring designs are completed to code and standards set forth by authoritative bodies while working with customer representatives and Project Management Teams.

Responsibilities include all aspects of design flow from feasibility analysis, logic synthesis, place and route, FEV, power, timing, quality checks, and design closure.
