The Physician Reviewer is the primary physician reviewer for Clinical Appropriateness Reviews cases in our organization. The Medical Director will provide medical expertise and guidance to the underwriting staff in matters related to risk selection on individual life insurance, long term care, and annuities for impaired lives. They will perform statistical analysis of mortality as needed, case analysis and referrals, and contribute to contestable claim reviews, along with training and developing underwriting staff.
