The Social Media Intern will be responsible for assisting the ACLU’s social media team in researching, producing, scheduling, and measuring the performance of content posted across Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms as needed. Daily tasks include producing content for various platforms, assisting in scheduling, and preparing analytics reports. The internship is remote and can be full-time or part-time.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Social Media and Communications Intern will play an active role in building and managing Autism Society of Georgia’s online social communities, assisting with coordinating content development, scheduling, and publishing. This role involves communicating our organization’s brand positively and authentically to attract engagement and analyzing metrics to identify the success of online and social media projects to create social media strategies around society message and events.

This role will be both proactive and reactive—strategy, community management, and content development. You’ll manage a team of Community Managers while owning the development and execution of real-time engagement, reputation response, content planning, and audience interaction across platforms. This is a full-time remote position that follows an Alternative Work Schedule , including availability for non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
