Assist in payroll processing and check distribution for multi-state/multi-company bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual payrolls. Responsible for all incoming inquiries and requests. Support the Sr. Manager with audit requests, payroll tax correspondence, outsourced payroll, special projects, assisting with payroll process documentation, and resolving escalated payroll issues.
Communicate with members via phone and email, exhibiting care in every interaction. Listen to members, providing empathy and solutions to their unique needs. Accurately document member interactions and activity.
Work cross-functionally across the business to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions associated with contemplated business transactions. Review all new business activities to ensure timely identification of accounting and financial reporting matters and prepare high quality accounting memorandums for senior management and auditors. Provide accounting expertise, including options and recommendations for transaction structuring, and simply and precisely explain accounting implications.
