Maturing Canva’s self-service data infrastructure so that domain teams can deliver high-impact outcomes, you will be building orchestration tooling with smart dependency logic and self-healing capabilities. The Data Software Engineer Intern role focuses on developing and optimizing the Zero-Emission Fleet Planning Tool, a tool that helps transit agencies, school bus fleets, and truck fleets transition to zero-emission vehicles. The Intern will play a key role in building and enhancing Python-based APIs that power real-time data integration, fleet simulations, and operational analytics.

Architect and build the data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces that power reporting systems. Work across the stack—from ingesting crypto-asset data from exchanges and block explorers, to building performant APIs, to designing intuitive dashboards that help portfolio managers monitor holdings, vesting schedules, and counterparty risk.
