Lead and expand our Workers Compensation underwriting operations across the Western U.S. This role encompasses team leadership, business development, and strategic underwriting, with a focus on specialized verticals such as construction, restaurants, and loss-sensitive accounts. Manage and mentor a growing team of production underwriters and collaborate with the business development team to drive growth.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at CompScience, you'll be the architect and guardian of our critical AWS infrastructure. You'll design and implement highly reliable and scalable systems, automate deployments with IaC, and ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency. Your expertise in security and disaster recovery will be crucial in maintaining our compliance and business continuity.
Play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and process optimization, especially including design and decision-making for our policy administration system and AI-powered underwriter workbench. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into actionable strategies. Be instrumental in supporting product development, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives.
Leverage groundbreaking AI-powered underwriting tools for evaluating, pricing, and underwriting workers' compensation insurance for new and renewal business. Using underwriting guidelines and industry expertise, determine eligibility and appropriate pricing for prospective policyholders. Review, analyze, quote, or decline policies within a letter of authority granted by capacity partner(s) and serve as a liaison with company personnel regarding opportunities and problem resolution.
