This is a hands-on technical leadership role to shape the future of Moonpay's data platform. As a Senior Data Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will design, build, and optimize the core infrastructure and services that empower developers and data users. You will also mentor other engineers on the team and improve the existing data platform codebase.

In this role, you will be joining the Product Operations team and work directly with product management, engineering, and cross-functional business teams on the company’s top priority initiatives. Product Operations is responsible for building strong connections with user-facing teams, ensuring a tight product feedback loop, and coordinating high quality launches. The team is deeply rooted in customer empathy using MoonPay products and leverages data insights to help set strategy and direction.

Architect and develop new and existing products and features. Work with Product Managers to come up with the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes to existing ones. Collaborate with other product teams to deliver and improve customer facing features. Contribute to the estimations, planning and execution of projects, features, and integrations. Integrate and work closely with external service providers to ensure smooth operation. Maintain and improve our existing codebase.

This role as EMEA Manager for our Customer Experience (CX) team will ensure that we are providing best-in-class support for MoonPay customers. You’ll oversee a regional team of high performing CX Support Agents and collaborate cross-functionally with other operational teams to ship initiatives that improve processes and the overall customer experience.
