About the Role:
- People-focused engineering leadership role in a fast-growing fintech company serving e-commerce.
- Lead a fully distributed team of 6–8 engineers across in-house and nearshore locations.
- Focus on people and process with occasional technical contributions.
Accountabilities:
- Manage the engineering team, conduct 1:1s, coaching, and performance management.
- Strengthen project communication, planning, and delivery processes.
- Guide migration from legacy PHP to Ruby on Rails using modern tools.
Benefits:
- Salary of $170,000–$200,000 CAD and fully remote position within Canada.
