Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and consultation to projects and professional co-workers; apply specialized knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze data.
- Coordinate tracking and records management systems for the internal research portfolio.
- Support the full lifecycle of grant management: assist in drafting NOFOs and RFPs, coordinate proposal review panels.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Oceanography, Marine Science, Environmental Science, or related field; 4+ years of professional experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Low-risk federal security clearance.
- Experience with federal grant administration and web content management systems.
Work Setting:
- Remote position with occasional travel to NOAA Silver Spring Metro Center.
- Travel may include at-sea deployments on NOAA vessels and national meetings.
