Category Strategy:
- Own the product category strategy, including pricing, supplier alignment, and market positioning.
- Lead rebate strategy, supplier programs, and margin optimization initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on pricing trends, competitive positioning, and profitability improvement.
Supplier Relationship:
- Manage the relationship with wire manufacturers.
- Work closely with Mayer’s wire center and procurement teams to ensure inventory strategy aligns with market conditions.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Strategic Growth team, Wire Center operations, Regional sales leadership.
Sales and Market support:
- Partner with Mayer sales teams to develop and win large wire opportunities.
- Assist sales teams in positioning Mayer as a solution provider.
- Help develop and implement Mayer’s wire specialization strategy, supporting both product leadership and customer growth initiatives.
