Payroll Specialist

Payroll Responsibilities:

• Prepares, documents, distributes, and reconciles payroll accurately and timely every cycle.
• Reviews the computation of pay and associated deductions for accuracy.
• Responds to and resolves inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensures system compliance with pay policies and government regulations.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of government legislation affecting payroll.
• May prepare or oversee required tax filings and other reporting.

System Management:

• Leads the design and implementation of automated payroll and attendance systems.
• Oversees testing and auditing phases to ensure accuracy.
• Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
