Role Summary:
- Lead the full-cycle sourcing, development, and closure of sales for a SaaS offering with company-level impact.
- Pioneer the channel sales pipeline and direct B2B pipeline from the ground up to deliver immediate revenue.
- Work with Product, Sales, and Marketing to assess market feedback and refine product positioning.
Essential Functions:
- Source, negotiate, and close SaaS agreements with channel partners to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct prospect research, maintain CRM accuracy, and generate pipeline through targeted sales and marketing activities.
- Deliver ongoing market intelligence, competitive insights, and product feedback to accelerate commercialization success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with an MBA preferred, plus 7+ years of Business Development experience and 10+ years of SaaS sales.
- Proven success in new product or market launches, selling to wholesale or reseller organizations, and closing high-value transactions.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, and experience in regulated environments like payroll or tax.
