About the Role:
- The LGBTQ & HIV Project seeks to create a just society for all LGBTQ people and people living with HIV regardless of race or income.
- This internship is for course credit only and requires current law students based in the U.S.
What You'll Do:
- Legal interns complete research and writing projects for litigation, policy advocacy, and public education.
- They receive close supervision from attorneys and are exposed to a range of experiences and management styles.
Your Day to Day:
- Conduct legal and factual research and draft memos.
- Potentially draft discovery requests, affidavits, and motions.
- Research and draft materials for advocacy and public education.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing the civil liberties of LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV.
- Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills.
