Responsibilities:
- Work closely with physician schedulers and the OR Manager to ensure schedule accuracy and data entry.
- Demonstrate high knowledge of managed care contracts and major third-party payers when verifying insurance.
- Screen patients for financial assistance eligibility and document insurance details clearly.
Qualifications:
- One year healthcare experience required; medical terminology and surgical knowledge helpful.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding desirable.
- Must possess computer skills and working knowledge of English.
