Job Summary:
- Provides oversight of CDI teams, holding them accountable to performance.
- Develops strategic plans to achieve CommonSpirit Health enterprise KPIs.
- Plays a critical role in overall accuracy and compliance for all CDI functions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees CDI team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to compliant CDI practices.
- Analyzes data and generates monthly KPI performance reports for executive leadership.
- Acts as a liaison between physicians, coding, and clinical quality for collaborative relationships.
Qualifications:
- Required: Associate of Nursing and 4-6 years experience, current RN license or CDIP/CCDS certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or degree in HIM.
- Experience with encoder and EMR systems such as Optum eCAC, Solventum, EPIC, Cerner, Meditech.
