Government Relations & Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:

• Identify specific legislative and regulatory goals in various states.
• Engage with state and federal lobbyists to draft proposed legislation and regulations.
• Create coalitions with other stakeholders who share our vision for legislative and regulatory change.

What Success Looks Like 90 Days In:

• Develop and implement a plan to address a company priority through government relations in at least two new states.
• Develop and implement a plan to work with a specific group of stakeholders to promote the company’s interests.
• Take ownership over and fine tune the company’s legislative and regulatory monitoring system.

Need to Have:

• JD, with admission to a state bar.
• At least 5 years of relevant legal and/or government relations experience.
• Experience engaging legislators and government regulators.
