Job Description
The Account Executive position is a critical role within the organization for driving sales revenue and growth within new and existing accounts. In this role, promote Rapid Micro Biosystems’ novel Growth Direct™ (GD) and automated quality control solution (capital equipment) and validation services for Pharmaceutical, Biologics, Medical Device, and Personal Care Products companies within the Northeast North American territory.
Achieve the regional sales goals through a technical, consultative selling process. The Account Executive will report to and communicate weekly with the Director of Sales-Americas. Collaborate sales activities extensively with other team members, the validation and service teams, and other internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities include developing a territory plan, negotiating and closing capital equipment sales, growing and managing the sales pipeline, coordinating with the Support team, providing technical expertise, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders. Must have the ability and skill set to sell to multiple stakeholders and travel within the region as needed. Administrative duties include regular forecasting meetings, maintaining accurate Salesforce pipeline, and monthly expense management.
