Senior Claims Specialist, Workers Compensation - Remote

Job Responsibilities:

• Examines claims data and conducts investigations into routine and moderately complex claims to determine coverage, compensability, subrogation and benefits.
• Receives lost time and complex medical only assignments, verifies coverage, and initiates 24-hour contact with employer and employee.
• Handles catastrophic claims with supervisory oversight, sets reserves, and manages litigation.

Qualifications:

• College degree, B.A. or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience handling workers compensation claims.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication.
