Director of Community

Community Strategy & Ecosystem Development:

• Define and lead the continental community strategy connecting ALX learners and alumni across Africa.
• Partner with regional teams to enable community activation in both existing and emerging markets.
• Develop scalable frameworks, playbooks, and systems that support regional teams in building strong local communities.

Rewards & Recognition:

• Oversee the evolution of the ALX rewards experience where learners and alumni earn points through meaningful engagement.
• Ensure the rewards ecosystem delivers meaningful value through redeemable benefits such as partner offers, experiences, and exclusive opportunities.
• Use rewards and recognition to drive sustained engagement across the community.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Provide strategic leadership to the leaders of the Community Experience, Rewards, and Alumni Relations teams.
• Establish clear goals, metrics, and reporting structures to measure community impact.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team capable of scaling community initiatives across multiple markets.
