Senior Counsel, Cards Product

About the Role:

• We are looking for a Product Counsel to advise on the intersection of technology, law, and the financial needs of our customers.
• You'll report to the AGC, Head of Product, and collaborate to scope a role that meets business needs as the Motive Card product grows.

What You'll Do:

• Counsel the product team to launch new features for the Motive Card and negotiate all manner of contracts.
• Support sales with training and process to streamline the sales cycle, and review marketing content for compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Risk to minimize loss, investigate fraud, and create policies to reduce it.

What We're Looking For:

• US-licensed attorney with 6+ years experience, including significant time in-house and law firm training.
• Experience with emerging fintech products, especially commercial payments, and ability to explain regulations to engineers.
• Independent decision-maker, revenue-oriented, humble, and AI-first perspective.
