Job Description

We are looking for an Application Monitoring Officer to provide enterprise-level monitoring to our services and systems. You will be responsible for the stability, integrity, and operation of our production systems by monitoring, configuring and driving optimizations. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in an accurate and timely manner. You will research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve system issues, take ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution and track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits. The role includes escalating unresolved issues, providing prompt and accurate feedback, prioritizing and managing several open issues at one time and documenting technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals. To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
