Scheduling & Referral Management:

  • Schedule appointments across multiple clinics based on care needs, provider availability, and patient location.
  • Manage and process incoming referrals to completeness, ensuring accurate verification of demographics and insurance.
  • Proactively communicate schedule changes and manage referrals across EHRs for timely patient updates.

Patient Communication & Experience:

  • Deliver exceptional, professional, and empathetic service during all patient and caregiver interactions.
  • Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, insurance, and therapy processes.
  • Document necessary information to ensure effective communication among clinic teams.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Accurately document all scheduling activities in the EMR and other required systems.
  • Coordinate with Authorization and Verification teams to resolve patient access issues.
  • Monitor scheduling compliance and escalate concerns to the District Supervisor as needed.

Team Collaboration & Compliance:

  • Partner with Patient Access Coordinators, Clinic Managers, and regional teams to support operational needs.
  • Adhere strictly to HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality standards in all workflows.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training, offering insights to improve workflows and patient access.
